Build America 250 Act Video
The Build America 250 Act represents one of the most significant opportunities in a generation to advance America’s unfinished transportation network. As the nation approaches its 250th anniversary, the legislation seeks to accelerate investment in highways, bridges, freight corridors, and critical infrastructure that strengthen economic competitiveness and national security.
For congressionally designated Future Interstate Corridors such as the East-West TransAmerica Corridor (Future I-66 and Future I-50), the Act provides a pathway to move long-authorized projects from planning into construction, helping connect rural communities, ports, manufacturing centers, agricultural regions, and emerging logistics hubs. By modernizing America’s transportation system and improving freight mobility across multiple states, the Build America 250 Act aims to create a stronger, safer, and more resilient national economy for the next generation.
